ABOUT ME
I am a passionate Instructional Designer and Educator with over 15 years of curriculum and courseware design experience. Whether you are an Educator, HR Manager or LMS Administrator, you recognize the impact of quality and engaging course design. Today’s learner needs to be inspired to engage their learning experiences, whether the end goal is the development of a skill, elevation of professional or workplace performance, or simply the dissemination of information for personal or professional enrichment. Whatever the project goal, it all starts with a thorough needs assessment, followed by a strong design plan.
CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN
Whether you need to design a college course curriculum or a professional development workshop, you want your learners to meet their learning goals and succeed. Building and maintaining engaging educational content is a vital and time-consuming process that is central to the experience created for your learners.
I partner with educators, HR managers, LMS Administrators, and others who manage education and training. I will work with you to determine or affirm your training needs. I use both traditional and innovative principles of instructional design and adult learning theory to construct new or refresh existing curriculum/courseware for delivery in a variety of educational settings.
FACULTY/INSTRUCTOR SUPPORT
Instructors are the life-blood of an organization’s education and training activities. Lecture and laboratory instructors present students with both theoretical concepts and real-life examples of how they may apply what they’ve learned. Both full-time and adjunct professors/instructors often work in the disciplinary fields in which they teach.
