The emergence and growth of MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) have changed the sources through which adult learners seek professional development and degrees. Further, as technical and occupational programming increases to meet the needs of a growing employment market in several sectors, institutions of higher education have begun to shift and create more offerings that will meet area employers’ needs for quality candidates.

Here is how my background and experience will best serve your development and design needs:

• My background of over 12 years in higher education as a Program Administrator and allied health textbook author has afforded me the opportunity to develop and implement several allied-health programs and courses, both in the classroom and online eLearning settings on a variety of LMS platforms.  I have gained a keen understanding of technical and occupational program structure and design that will best meet the needs of this unique group of learners, having built and taught several courses over a number of years!

• My history as a former program-level accreditation surveyor gives me a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and ensuring that that all content, formative, and summative assessments developed are aligned with stated learning goals and program-level requirements.

• My combined design experience of over 15 years of engaging both large and small-scale design projects, acting as a subject matter expert, content developer, and lead ID has prepared me to tackle any design project and work expertly with members of the design team and other client stakeholders.  Additionally, I have experience designing SCORM content using both Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline/Rise.

• Finally, my background and experience in healthcare has empowered me with a caring and committed attitude, empathy, excellent customer service, and communication skills, strong listening skills, intercultural competence, and unrivaled work ethic that drives me to produce quality results for each and every client.
